A Refreshingly Cool Tuesday: Appointments, Fitness, and Family Time

Today was a typical Tuesday for me, which means appointments, a quick trip to the nail salon, and donuts. But this time, I decided to keep things simple. My kids stayed at home, so it was just me and Coco heading to the appointment. Coco, as always, behaved wonderfully—he's becoming quite the pro at these outings.

At the appointment, I made a small mistake. Wanting to be nice, I tried to interact with some kids who were there with their mom, waiting for their turn. It didn't go quite as planned, but sometimes, being friendly doesn't always land the way you expect. 

After the appointment, I decided to make a stop at the fitness center on the way home with Coco. I checked out some tennis classes, paddled a stationary bike for a bit, and took Coco for a walk around the area. He did a great job, enjoying the fresh air and the activity.

The rest of the day was spent at home with the kids. It was a regular day, but what made it special was the cool weather. It’s been a while since I’ve needed a hoodie, but today was perfect for it. There's something comforting about slipping into a hoodie on a cool day—it makes everything feel a little cozier.

All in all, it was a routine day, but sometimes, those are the best kind. The small moments, like walking Coco or enjoying the cool breeze in my hoodie, are what make these days enjoyable. Now, with the day winding down, I’m ready to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening with my family.

A Week of Healing, Hiccups, and Hope

This week has been a bit of a rollercoaster, with some unexpected twists and turns in my recovery journey.
