A Day of Thunderstorm Aftermath and Family Adventures
Today was a whirlwind of activity, starting with the aftermath of a thunderstorm and ending with a quiet evening of gardening. It was a day filled with unexpected tasks, family fun, and reflections on the curious behavior of neighbors. Here's a look back at our day: Morning Cleanup The day began with assessing the damage from last night's thunderstorm. The yard was soaked, water-holding containers were full, and the ground was a muddy mess. Cleaning up the aftermath required emptying all the water containers and surveying the soaked earth. Since working in the mud wasn’t an option, we decided to let the ground dry out a bit. Swimming Class and Ice Cream Break With some free time on our hands, we took the kids to their swimming class.
